Subcontractor Of The Year
Hershocks, Inc. received the “Subcontractor of the Year” award for 2019 which was presented by the American Subcontractors Association of Central Pennsylvania. The award was presented to Dwayne Weaver as CEO at the PAK Awards Night held on February, 20th 2020 at the Harrisburg Crown Plaza. Dwayne accepted the award and described some of the key jobs worked on in 2019 which included:
- York Memorial Hospital for Quandel Construction
- UGI Headquarters for Warfel Construction
- Jaguar / Land Rover Dealership for R.S. Mowery & Sons
- 225 Grandview Avenue for AP Williams Construction
- PHFA Phase 2 for Lobar, Inc.

So when folks drive into the access way of UGI Utilities Inc.’s new headquarters in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, they should be duly impressed. The sprawling three-story office complex on 32 scenic acres is a recent example of what Hershocks, the venerable Harrisburg subcontractor, can do with a building’s exterior. Download the Article
CENTRIA’s Metalmag Profiles Hershocks’ Installation Project
Hershocks’ recent installation of CENTRIA Formawall® and Versawall® metal panels at the Susquehanna Art Museum (SAM) was featured as the cover story in Metalmag’s Spring 2016. The article, “Art Project,” describes the design process for SAM’s new, permanent home in Harrisburg, PA and how their designers worked with JEM Group and Hershocks to achieve a beautiful and unique metal exterior without unnecessarily driving up costs. American Subcontractor’s Association’s 2016 Safety Award
Hershocks, Inc. was awarded the 2016 Safety Award by the American Subcontractors Association. The award was based on criteria such as mod rate, safety program, existence of a safety committee, loss days and reportable accidents. The award was accepted by Dwayne Weaver as CEO of Hershocks at the January 21st ASA Meeting.
American Subcontractors Association of Central PA’s Ralph Deaven Award
The Ralph Deaven Lifetime Achievement Award was created by The American Subcontractors Association of Central Pennsylvania (ASACP) and named after Ralph Deaven, former president of the ASACP and Hershocks. For over 25 years, the award has been given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the improvement of the construction industry.
